Who is Eligible and When does it begin?

Applicants must be graduating students of UofT or Waterloo faculty of pharmacies within the next 18 Months.

Scholarship amount and compensation

$15,000 for 1 year commitment
Internship Role will be
  • 75% Dispensing
  • 20% Head Office Internship activities
  • Will include a internship placement that will be used to satisfy College requirements
Staff pharmacist and corporate manager role following internship
  • 90% Dispensing
  • 10% Care Corporate office activities

The Care Rural Practice Scholarship

  • $30,000 for 2 year commitment rural and remote and relief placement.
  • 6 Weeks paid Vacation
  • 4 Weeks unpaid “travel” time off
Applicants must write a cover letter describing why they are interested in rural pharmacy practice.
